TYPES OF CARE
At SomerCare our dedicated and compassionate care team is unique in its ability to offer a wide range of care services including low- and high-level care, aging in place and respite care. Our dementia specific care incorporates a secure setting with dementia specific staffing and lifestyle programs.
High-level care
High-level care involves the provision of 24-hour nursing care when required, meals, laundry, cleaning and personal care.
Low-level care
Low-level care involves the provision of assistance with meals, laundry and personal care.
Aging-in-place
As an aging-in-place facility SomerCare is able to provide continual care for a resident, as their care needs shift from low to high.
Respite care
SomerCare offers short-term respite care to people who need care in an aged care home. It may be used on a planned or emergency basis to help with carer stress, illness, holidays or any other time that a carer is unable to assist.
